Trace is designed to prioritize your privacy. The desktop client operates locally, processing AI logs and performance metrics directly on your machine. We do not transmit your raw AI prompt inputs or model output data to our servers.
To help us identify bugs and improve stability, Trace may collect anonymized telemetry data (such as application crash logs, operating system versions, and feature activation frequencies). You can opt out of telemetry sharing inside the settings menu at any time.
When using integrated scheduling widgets (such as Cal.com) or external repository trackers (GitHub), data transmission is handled directly by these third-party platforms. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard all telemetry logs and user account information against unauthorized access, modification, or exposure.
For any questions regarding your data privacy, telemetry opt-out configurations, or these practices, feel free to reach out to us.
